Colorado Housekeepers was founded by Jaqua Lawson and her husband, Maurice Lawson. My journey in the cleaning industry began in 2019 after spending a decade working in home healthcare. During that time, I saw firsthand how many clients struggled to maintain a clean home due to disabilities or health issues, often without the support of family or friends. It became clear to me that everyone deserves a clean and comfortable space, but not everyone has access to the help they need. That’s when I made the decision to leave the medical field and follow my passion for cleaning, determined to make a difference in people’s lives.
When the pandemic hit, I pivoted to commercial cleaning and built a successful company over the past five years. But my heart has always been in helping families. Now, with Colorado Housekeepers, I’m returning to my roots—creating a residential cleaning service that delivers top-notch, reliable, and personalized cleaning for families who need it most.
